My daughter and I had a fabulous hour playing an array of games! We were shown how to set up and play the trickier games and the milkshakes were incredible! Such a lovely cafe to have locally and the staff are all so friendly!

Myself and my wife took our four kids here as an end of term treat. Friendly, great selection of games and helpful manager who taught us how to play a few age-suitable games. Food also good, and huge milkshakes! Definitely worth a visit and, I suspect, we'll be back.

Went to my first casual play night at Food and Board and it was amazing! Great staff and very welcoming players, suitable for all abilities. They have a fantastic range of board games so will be back for them sometime soon! Thanks for the great night!

The sheer amount of board games available is amazing! Everything is so well maintained and you can feel the love the owners have for Boardgames! The food is great and the service is excellent. 11/10 would recommend and will play here again! The price of the food and the time spent is really good value for money!

An excellent afternoon spent at Food and Board, what a fantastic board games cafe. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was incredible and very warm. We enjoyed trying out a range of board games (there was lots of choice) and we're given specific suggestions for two players. I would definitely recommend a visit.

It was our first visit to Food and Board today and I have so much love for this place! What a hidden gem! We have been to lots of gaming cafes with adult groups, our teenage daughter and the little ones. Today I wanted some special time with our 3 year old so thought we would give this a try. I didn't have high hopes as lots of gaming cafes don't cater for tiny children. This one did! They have an amazing catalogue of board games, he was kept occupied for 3 hours! The owners are really lovely, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home straight away. They have an excellent selection of hot drinks, milkshakes (yum), soft drinks and even wine. We enjoyed the food we had (nachos are great comfort food). I even bought a board game to bring home. I will definitely be back with all the kids and might even come for a date with my husband if we can get a sitter Also... Parking is free, added bonus!

Always a great time when my partner and I attend Food and Board. We have been many times and the food is amazing! Rob, Sarah and the team are very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the boardgames on offer. My partner has a dairy allergy and they always cater for that. It is the best burger she has had in years so we always end up coming back! If you love good food and board games - I highly recommend!!

Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The food is awesome good value and portion sizes and options for people with dietary requirements. Frequently had lunches and dinners here. Amazing board game collection with help on hand to understand the rules. Really clean. Great date night with a cheeky glass of wine, day out with kids from as young as 3 or place to make friends it's really for everything.
